"Feast in China"
A first-of-its-kind documentary on the culture and tradition of the Chinese banquet. The documentary showcases (and replicated) seven unique and exceptionally different banquets: the most well-known and possibly most exquisite royal banquet, The Manchurian-Chinese banquet, with the full 108 courses; the Banquet from the Red Chamber, the almost second most well-known banquet named after one of the four most influential Chinese novels Dream of The Red Chamber; The Cathay Banquet, the first ever state banquet; and four regional banquets from Guangdong, Fujian, Sichuan, Yunan, showcasing the local tradition, culture and produces.
